Hi everyone Jason here with another blog post. This one will be the first part of a mini series focusing on the Horus Heresy character series by Forgeworld. My aim is to collect, build and paint the whole lot, including the Primarchs and all other characters. The Horus Heresy is my favorite part of wargaming and I've been waiting a long time to start this project. I know this blog goes off topic from Heresy onto general gaming sometimes, but this will certainly keep the Heresy posts coming.
To kick things off I've spent the last few days assembling some of the characters, starting with the non-Primarchs (therefore technically making the title of this post a complete lie, sorry! They'll be done soon). I've still got a few on the desk waiting to do, Abaddon and Loken plus the new Word Bearers character Zhadu and his blade slaves. I've got half the currently released Primarchs to do after that, and will add the rest later on or as they get released. Better start painting next!
I'm sure you've seen these all before, but they are all awesome models with loads of detail, dynamic poses and nice display bases.
